We are looking for suitable candidates for the role of a Project Manager – Communications and Resource Mobilization. The role is a multi-faceted one and calls for creativity, crispness, articulation and timeliness. We need individuals who are doers and who believe in high quality deliverables.
Following are the expectations from the potential candidate:
1. Assisting in Development and up gradation of communication materials like – brochures, posters and the like.
2. Assisting in Upkeep and updating of our website.
3. Assisting in handling all communication related activities like training the staff and beneficiaries and providing inputs on how best to present ourselves and the work that we do.
4. Managing our virtual presence – blog and twitter account. And providing inputs on how we could broaden the scope of our visibility in the virtual spheres.
5. Assisting the Director in Fund raising for our ongoing projects which entails – networking with donor agencies/corporate and maintaining a steady contact with them, proposal development, scouting for potential donors and collaborations with groups similar to Lions’ Club, Rotary etc.
The candidate should be a Post Graduate in a discipline that is closely related to communications. We require an individual who has previously had some experience working in the above mentioned areas.
Good command over English is a must Eight hours of work/day with 2nd and 4th Saturday and all Sundays off. In a year 12 bank holidays.
